MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Pataskala is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Worker. Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CDL Class A certificate with tanker endorsement at the time of application or be able to obtain both certifications within 1-year of employment. Applicant must have experience and knowledge in the operating of snow removal equipment, heavy equipment (backhoe, tractor, etc.), mowers and other related equipment. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. Duties include: operation of city-owned equipment and other related activities associated with the Public Service department. Hours: M-F, 7-3 but must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays for overtime purposes due to job requirements. POLICE CLERK (PART-TIME)
The City of Pataskala is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Police Clerk. Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background investigation for access to the Law Enforcement Access Database System (LEADS). Applicant must have at least 2-years clerical experience in office procedures and office management. Duties include: answers the Police non-emergency phones and responds to public requests for support; collects and processes fingerprints for background check purposes; and conducts background checks for government agencies. Hours: The position works two (2) 10-hour shifts and one (1) 5-hour shift M-F. Terms of Employment: Part-time, 25 hrs/wk.
