Message from Councilman Hickin

I am humbled and honored to hold the position of At-Large City Councilman. My wife and I decided to establish our business in Pataskala and raise our kids in this community because it seemed like such a great place. Thank goodness we were right! Pataskala’s residents are good people who support local businesses and more importantly form a great community. There are many current issues that face us: making Pataskala more business friendly; improving the city’s aged infrastructure; a re-dedication to our parks and recreation programs and retaining good safety service officers in the city. Solving these problems and remaining fiscally conservative isn’t easy but it can be done. I look at these challenges and see great opportunities, which is exciting.
