Attention Residents

On September 15th (weather dependent) the Heron Manor development will need to tie into the existing water main on Broad Street. The area along Broad Street from Linden Ave west to Conine Way (highlighted in yellow on the map) will have its water service shut off in order to complete this work.  The tie in procedure is expected to take 8-10 hours. In order to minimize the impact of this work on our customers, the contractor has agreed to do the work at night. Work will begin at 9 pm on September 15th and should be complete by 8 am on September 16th. Because we are able to monitor chlorine levels and directionally flush the affected line in accordance with EPA guidelines, there will NOT be a boil alert issued following this work. It is possible that customers may experience discolored water or air in their lines following this work, but that should clear up after running your tap for a few minutes. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call the Utility Department at 740-964-6275.
