With the anticipation of snow fall coming to Pataskala again this weekend, here are some helpful tips to help the service department when plowing the roads:
* PARKED CARS ON STREETS
PLEASE remove any cars parked on the streets during any and all snow events, regardless of the amount that accumulates. It is very difficult for the plow truck drivers to maneuver around cars parked on the street. This results in the crews not being able to do as good of a job as they could if the roads were clear of cars.
* BASKETBALL HOOPS IN THE RIGHT OF WAY/STREETS
Basketball hoops are similar to parked cars on the street, as it is very difficult for the plow truck drivers to maneuver around them without having damage to the trucks or hoops themselves. Please remove the basketball hoops from the road way AND right of ways. (In between the road and sidewalk). As of right now there are 50+ basketball hoops in the roads or right of ways that need to be removed.
