We’re excited to welcome everyone back to the Pataskala Municipal Pool for the upcoming season! Below are a few important updates and what to expect this summer.

Membership Sales

Pool memberships will go on sale beginning April 1st.
Please note that daily rates and membership fees have seen a slight increase. Rates had not been adjusted since 2019, and the updated fees were approved by Pataskala City Council to help support ongoing facility improvements and operations.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons will be available for registration in May 2026.
All swim lessons are operated by Columbus Pool Management Group.

Facility Improvements – New for This Season

• Additional lounge chairs have been purchased for patron comfort

• The pool will be patched and repainted prior to the season

• Bathroom light fixtures are being changed

• Ongoing maintenance to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming environment

Concessions

The concession stand will remain open throughout the summer, offering refreshments during regular pool hours.

The Pataskala Municipal Pool has been a cornerstone of our community since the early 1970s — proudly serving residents for nearly 60 years! Our pool offers season memberships, daily entry options, and pool party reservations for family fun all summer long.

Private Pool Parties – Pataskala Municipal Pool

The Pataskala Municipal Pool offers private pool party rentals for groups looking to celebrate in a fun and safe environment. Lifeguard services are provided by Columbus Pool Management Group, while the City of Pataskala manages reservations, facility rental, and payments.

Booking Process

1. Initial Inquiry & Deposit

• All pool party inquiries are handled by the Parks Manager.

• A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your requested date.

• The deposit may be paid by credit card or check in person through CivicRec or via in-person payment.

• The deposit will be applied toward the total rental cost.

2. Approval & Scheduling

• Once the deposit is received, the Parks Manager will review and confirm availability.

• Pool parties must be scheduled at least 14 days prior to the requested event date.

3. Final Payment

• Full payment must be completed 24-48 hours prior to the event.

• If final payment is not received by the day of the reservation, the reservation will be canceled and the $50 deposit will be forfeited.

Pool Party Rental Fees

• 2-Hour Pool Party: $225 does not include $50 deposit

• 3-Hour Pool Party: $325 does not include $50 deposit

Rental fees include facility use and one lifeguard for up to 30 swimmers. Additional lifeguard staffing fees may apply (see below).

Lifeguard Requirements & Additional Costs

Lifeguard staffing is based on the number of swimmers and is billed at an additional per-hour rate:

• 1–30 swimmers: 1 lifeguard — $0 additional

• 31–50 swimmers: 2 lifeguards — $50 per hour

• 51–70 swimmers: 3 lifeguards — $100 per hour

All lifeguard staffing and oversight is provided by Columbus Pool Management Group.
