Resident & Non-Resident Program Fees – Important Information

The City of Pataskala Parks & Recreation Department has adopted a resident and non-resident fee structure for all Parks & Recreation programs.

What does this mean?
Program fees are based on city tax residency, not mailing address or school district. Residents are defined as individuals who live within the City of Pataskala corporate limits and pay City of Pataskala income or property taxes.

A non-resident rate applies to participants who live outside city limits, including (but not limited to):

• Etna Township

• Harrison Township

• Other surrounding townships or municipalities

While some addresses may list “Pataskala” as a mailing address or attend Southwest Licking Schools, these factors do not determine residency status for Parks & Recreation programming.

This fee structure was approved by City administration and helps ensure that Pataskala taxpayers receive resident pricing while still allowing non-residents to participate in our programs.

If you are unsure of your residency status, we encourage you to check the Licking County Auditor’s website or contact the Parks & Recreation Department prior to registration.
