If your citation was a result of a traffic accident and did not provide proof of insurance, you must appear in court on your assigned date and time. Important Traffic Information

Court Date

All payable traffic violations are assigned a court date. You are required to appear in court on the assigned date and time, or waive your appearance by payment of the offense (s) on or before your court date. Warning: Failure to appear in court on your assigned court date and time, or to pay your waiver amount in lieu of court appearance may result in one, or all of the following:

• Late Fee – $20 Late Fee after 5 days.
• Warrant Issued with additional $65 in cost.
• Blocking of your motor vehicle registration or transfer of registration.
• Possible Driver’s License Forfeiture

Insurance

If you did not provide the officer with proof of insurance for the vehicle you were operating at the time you were issued the citation, you will still have the opportunity to provide proof when appearing in court or when paying the court appearance waiver amount in person or by mail.
