Our City Council

The City Council is the legislative body of the municipal government. City Council consists of seven members; three of which are elected at-large by voters in the entire city. The remaining four members are elected by voters within their respective wards.

Our City Administrator

The City Administrator is appointed by the Mayor and hired by City Council, as required by the City Charter, to oversee the day-to-day operations of the city. The Administrator serves as the chief executive and administrative officer of the city and is responsible for all city departments, excluding the Police Department which is overseen by the Mayor.

Other Departments of the City

The Chief Financial Officer of the city, per the Charter, is the Director of Finance. The Director of Finance serves the Council and is responsible for the financial operations of the city. The Police Department under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police and the general direction of the Mayor; Utilities Department under the direct supervision of the Director of Utilities; the Planning and Zoning Department under the director supervision of the Director of Planning and Zoning; and the Department of Public Services under the director supervision of the Director of Public Service.
